Welcome to Kevinnissimo!
A New Step
I can remember when I first launched my original site back in 2012. It took me several attempts and brainstorming sessions to capture my adventures and journaling work. That led me to choose lecahierdekev.
From there I shared my work focusing on mathematics, science, and English language learning. It was quite exciting, and I enjoyed sharing knowledge with everyone around me.
Since that time, I reshaped my thoughts and perspectives from conversations with others. I decided to go back to the basics and focus on topics related to public health and my personal blog adventures. I decided to do a complete redesign of my work including my username and logo (don’t worry, lecahierdekev is still there!).
I changed it to kevinnissimo because I wanted to capture the evolution of my professional work while continuing the essence of my adventures. This name spoke out to me during my brainstorming session and had stuck with me ever since. While there are aspects of lecahierdekev in kevinnissimo, I felt that I’ve learned a lot from those years updating my first site and am ready to move in a new direction.
In addition to my public health work (thank you to my wonderful graduate advisor and mentor, Dr. Luvenia Cowart for instilling her passion for research and health outreach into me!) (and most recently, accounting and finance), I also wanted to share my love for arts and humanities. Those of you who had read my old blog entries know that I’m surrounded by talented artists, musicians, and writers. Their passion for their craft had rubbed off onto me. You all rock!
I’m very excited to start this new journey with all of you! On this site, I’ll have my new handouts, blog adventures, and my archived blog entries from lecahierdekev. All of my handouts and old work will still be available on my other site. But for now, let’s get the ball rolling on kevinnissimo!
Happy exploring!
With all my love,
Kevin
